today we went for dinner with my aunt. i think she's in her 60s. for the time time in all these years, i looked at her in her eyes and noticed that she's already looking old. then i wandered, i must have been taking things for granted. i asked myself when was the last time i actually looked at someone with a clear mind. i think it was ages ago. i have been letting all these things passing by and didnt even bother to take note of them. then i looked at her husband, he was a wise general, and he looked old too.
To my astonishment, i found out that they were together since secondary school. they stood so strong for each other and went through everything together until now. and im sure it will be the same in the future. what are we talking about here? a relationship that lasts for at least 50 years? i cant even go through with my gf for even more than 5months. i was really tempted to ask what's the secret but i think they do not have the answer too. maybe its just the love they have for each other. i really envy them. really really. i hope i could be like them.
